There are many types of teeth in the mouth cavity and one of them are Molars. Most of the people are having first, second and third molars. Third molar is also known as wisdom tooth. It is situated behind the second molar. Usually a person has four wisdom teeth. A tooth which is failed to erupt properly is known as impacted tooth. The reason for an impacted tooth is improper angulation. Special type of termination is used by dentists to describe the position of an impacted wisdom tooth. A tooth can be impacted in various directions.
There is no specific reason for the impaction of a wisdom tooth. One of the reasons can be inadequate jaw bone space. Only treatment of an impacted tooth is extraction. The decision of tooth extraction can be taken after special examination. It is a good idea to perform dental X-rays. Impacted tooth is more prone to cavities and decay. There is a great risk infection of surrounding tissue of wisdom tooth. The infection of surrounding tissue is known as periconitis. It is not possible to clean impacted tooth. Improper dental hygiene can cause tooth plaque.
A tooth can be removed with the help of a small operation. Operation can be conducted under local anesthesia. You should find a skilled dental surgeon. You have to take pain killers and antibiotics in the post-operative period. The recovery period is very short. Swelling is very common in post operative period. There are some complications of the surgery. But complications can be minimized if proper instructions are followed before and after the surgery.

Welcome to Lawrence Fair Trade
The mission of Lawrence Fair Trade is to raise awareness of Fair Trade and economic justice in the Lawrence community and throughout the Midwest. Every year the week after Thanksgiving we run the Fair Trade Holiday Market at the ECM on the KU campus. This is a great place to find alternative holiday gifts made by artisans who are fairly compensated and treated fairly throughout the trading and production process.
On April 11 and 12, 2008, we are also hosting and helping to organize the second annual Fair Trade in the Heartland Conference.
